Hello, I´m Natasha, welcome to my website. I have committed myself to help women newly diagnosed with celiac disease which is causing hair loss. I know doctors say there isn’t a proven link as of yet, but when you don’t have good gut health you don’t have good hair; that’s a link to me. You don’t have bad hair days without there being an underlying issue.

I am truly grateful to be able to go ‘Walking & Talking!’ To connect with people and share my journey of discovery and rediscovering my passion for hair all over again. For me, self-education has been and continues to be the way forward. Here I want to share my journey and the lessons I've learned.

INNER PASSION

As a passionate hairdresser, salon owner and hair educator with more than 37 years experience, when I started to lose my hair it had a huge a effect on my daily life. After being diagnosed with celiac disease, I worked my way through the complications of the illness and the damage it wreaked on my body and hair.

I have combined my professional skills and personal experience to develop a consultation course aimed at teaching individual women how to encourage and optimise hair re-growth and inner wellbeing.

UNDERSTANDING HAIR

It was obvious that hair products alone were not enough to address my hair loss. The changes in my diet were helping my body but were not enough to heal my hair. I began to do my own research, starting in local health shops, on the internet and by speaking to friends, family and clients - lots and lots of them.

I also realised that the hair can be used as an early warning system, when women’s hair begins changing it can be a sign that the body is struggling in some way.

The ‘eureka’ moment came when talking to a client in her early 70s who had been diagnosed as celiac. She had always had the most beautiful head of hair, but it was falling out. I looked at others and realised that in women, when we are unwell, our hair is unwell – it reflects our health and well-being.

These lessons, my passion for hairdressing and making women feel good about themselves, coupled with my own chronic illness due to celiac has led me to develop ‘Growing Hair from the Inside Out’. This is a tailored system designed to help people optimise hair growth and focus on their wellbeing.
